Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones, was 26 years old. He was shot and killed in a Tampa hotel parking lot early Sunday morning, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Fusco said he was "heartbroken" by Foolio's death. "He was a talented young man with a bright future," Fusco said. "He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and fans."
Foolio was a rising star in the rap world. He had released several mixtapes and singles, and he had collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Kodak Black and Lil Yachty.
